This world full of hate
she is now left alone
Through this life she has lived
when will it all end

Through the window left open
she hears voices inside her head
has she gone crazy
what made her this way?

No hope to this life
as she cuts into her veins
will someone come rescue he

AliveI want to speak, cry for help, but I don't say a word.
I want you to hear me, so I cover your ears.
I want someone like you to see me, so I blindfold you.
You make me feel like I'm not worthless.
I'm not neglected or alone anymore.
You're the only thing that makes me feel alive again.
You make me feel like I'm worth the trouble, I'm an even trade for the pain, and all the heartache I put you through.
How hard is it just to lean down, whisper in my ear those four worthless words:

On the surface I look fine 'cause it's inside that I'm suffering.
Trying to find a way to possibly numb the pain...
Trying to break the chains, but these efforts are all in vain.

Maybe if my heart just suddenly stopped beating,
It wouldn't hurt this much and I'd get over this empty feeling...
If I could stop the rain from pouring down from the sky,
Would you be glad I'm alive? Would you finally be satisfied?

So much of me is wasted trying to be your perfect.
Even when it works you make me feel like it isn't worth it.
How can you expect I'll want to try again soon,

Who started what?
Does the sickness start the addiction to the medication?
Or does my addiction become a disease?
Is my escape the problem? Or is it the side effect of addiction? A symptom?
This doesn't begin to illustrate my confusion.
My anger.
My pain.
I'm so sick.
Because this is all my fault.
Love is a disease. Its a silent killer. An anthrax.

And right to my wrist.
To see the scars,
Where my blade had been.
But there were no scars,
Because there was no wrist.
Just empty flesh,
Hollow and Bloodless.
Does this mean I'm still alive?
Or that I died last night?
My fingers they found,
Just the right vein.

To my dismay.
HELP!
I screamed at the top of my lungs.
But no help came,

That I would never win.

Drowning in my shame.
